Acts of the Apostles bible study chapters 1 through 7

Here is a bible study of a very important book of the new testament, the Acts of the Apostles which describes the formation and the early history of the Christian church. This study will be in four parts due to the book’s length, 28 chapters, and I am even providing a link here to the study I did on the gospel of Luke, as many believe the books were done by the same author, and even some believe they were even one book called Lukeacts, which would as a result be 52 chapters. Here is the link to the first part of the book of Luke:

There are contentions about the requirements to be saved in chapter 15, some trying to say it is needed but then it was proved it isn’t then at the end of the chapter Paul and Barnabas have a strong...

Here is the concluding part of the book of the Acts of the Apostles, this showing Paul going through various hearings, giving the testimony of his conversion, and then his missionary journey to Rome, where he would eventually be martyred after the events of the book of Acts conclude, but not before having an effective ministry in Rome. Here is a link to the previous seven chapters, 15 through 21

Epistle of Romans bible study chapters 1 through 8

This is a study of Paul’s epistle to the Romans which presumably was written during his stay in Rome to the Roman Christians and Jews. The epistle is highly evangelical in nature and a good many verses are now used to witness to people nowadays, showing our need for a savior, namely Jesus, why we do need Him, and even how to get him. Because of the epistle’s length it is being split in two parts of 8 chapters each.

Chapter 1 is the salutation of the epistle and then warns us about the dangers of being fallen away from God because God can and will give people over to their own reprobate minds, often causing people to become harder still:

(Romans 1:1)  Paul, a servant of Christ Jesus, called to be an apostle, set apart for the gospel of God,

(Romans 1:2)  which he promised beforehand through his...

1 Corinthians bible study chapters 1 through 8

Paul wrote two epistles to the Corinthians to help build up, encourage and also correct the Christians and their church in Corinth, hoping they would become more mature and repent of any wrongdoing, putting away any evil people among them as needed. I am doing this in three studies total, the first letter in 2 parts and the second letter as a study on its own , due to their combined length. The two letters can be studied separately also but I plan on linking all three together for those who want to do a big study of both letters, which I recommend so doing.

In chapter 1 after the salutation in which Paul encourages the Corinthians to be rich in the Lord Paul corrects them for divisions and strife, telling them to focus on God, and not men, and that God can bring any worldly thing down to foolishness, and that if we are to boast in anything...

1 Corinthians bible study chapters 9 through 16

By James J Dougherty, 2013-05-21

1 Corinthians bible study chapters 9 through 16

Here is the concluding part of the bible study to 1 Corinthians, including chapters 9 through 16. These chapters in this epistle speak on various subjects such as the Lord’s Supper (communion), the gifts of the spirit, and also have the love and resurrection of the dead chapters, and various other things that are every bit as relevant to us today as they were to the Corinthian church who are the subjects of this letter. Here is a link to the first 8 chapters of the Epistle to make it easy for you to do the whole book as a bible study:
