Salvation gospel tract featuring 1 John

By James J Dougherty, 2013-07-24

                        Salvation tract featuring 1 John

Here is a salvation tract featuring verses from three different chapters of 1 John though all with the same message- Jesus being the propitiation for our sins

These two verses in 1 John 2 also state how Jesus was the propitiation for our sins and all mankind’s

(1 John 2:1)  My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.

(1 John 2:2)  He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world.

Also a very similar message is given in these two verses in 1 John chapter 4 how God loved us and sent Jesus to be a propitiation for our sins

(1 John 4:9)  In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him.

Salvation gospel teaching featuring Hebrews 2

By James J Dougherty, 2013-07-25

Salvation teaching featuring Hebrews chapter 2 and 4

Here is a salvation teaching featuring the message delivered in Hebrews chapter 2, asking how we can neglect such a great salvation witnessed by the Holy Spirit through miracles, and that so much was put under man’s dominion like the animals and plants, and that God was really mindful towards us, too. He sent His Son, Jesus who was tempted like any man but bore with it and is a redeemer for all of us, so we can approach Him

(Hebrews 2:1)  Therefore we must pay much closer attention to what we have heard, lest we drift away from it.

(Hebrews 2:2)  For since the message declared by angels proved to be reliable, and every transgression or disobedience received a just retribution,

(Hebrews 2:3)  how shall we escape if we neglect such a great salvation? It was declared at first by the Lord, and it was attested to us by those who heard,

Salvation teaching featuring Hebrews 1

By James J Dougherty, 2013-07-25

Salvation teaching and tract on Hebrews 1

Here is a salvation related teaching and tract on Hebrews chapter 1 stating how Jesus is so highly exalted above the angels and will be forever and how now Jesus, the Son of God speaks to mankind something the prophets used to (and there still are prophets today as well)

(Hebrews 1:1)  Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets,

(Hebrews 1:2)  but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world.

(Hebrews 1:3)  He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,

(Hebrews 1:4)  having become as much superior to angels as the name he has inherited is...

Hebrews chapters 3 and 4 salvation teachings

Here are the third and fourth chapters of Hebrews which bring home the message that Jesus is to exalted and was over Moses and is to be over all, and makes the example of the Children of Israel who failed to enter into God’s rest because of their unbelief. The warning is for us today to not harden our hearts, either but to believe or we ourselves will not enter into God’s rest either. We indeed are to strive to enter into God’s rest and also Jesus cannot be touched by our weaknesses and was tempted just as we were. These two chapters are presented without comment between them.

(Hebrews 3:1)  Therefore, holy brothers, you who share in a heavenly calling, consider Jesus, the apostle and high priest of our confession,

(Hebrews 3:2)  who was faithful to him who appointed him, just as Moses also was faithful in all God's house.

(Hebrews 3:3)  For...

                        Fifteen verse salvation tract

Here is a simple salvation tract portraying the message of salvation and our need for a savior, Jesus in fifteen verses from the bible

As stated all have fallen short and need the gift of salvation though Jesus who was put forth as a propitiation by His blood

(Romans 3:23)  for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

(Romans 3:24)  and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,

(Romans 3:25)  whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God's righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins.

Here is the consequence of our falling short yet the gift from God too

(Romans 6:23)  For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

These verses in John...
