A New Salvation test and teaching
Here is a salvation test and teaching showing how we fall short of His standard and displease Him but also what God and God alone has done to remedy the fact and send us our personal savior. I will start this by saying that as my personal Christmas break draws to an end one of the verses the Lord has especially highlighted are these two in Ecclesiastes:
(Ecclesiastes 5:4) When thou vowest a vow unto God, defer not to pay it; for he hath no pleasure in fools: pay that which thou hast vowed.
(Ecclesiastes 5:5) Better is it that thou shouldest not vow, than that thou shouldest vow and not pay.
A vow often can be promising to do something or some things for someone else or God. Not paying it would mean that the thing is forgotten about, or whatever reason is NOT done. This displeases God.
This passage in James chapter 2 shows that we cannot be partial...
Another test and salvation teaching
I myself am going back to school on January 6, 2014 and I know I will have more tests, and as such felt inspired to give you a ten question test, which will determine whether you need Jesus or not. If you can answer these all correct and are thus perfect, you need to answer NO to ALL TEN of these. This is a test by God based on the Ten Commandments given by Him to Moses, and you are to see if you violated the questions. God does not grade on any curve either. It is either 100 percent or zero percent- even one wrong means you get them ALL wrong as said in scripture. Here is the test:
Have you:
1 Had ANY other gods besides The God (again as below can be anything or anyone)?
2 Made idols in the form on heaven and earth and worshipped them(An idol is anything that takes the place of God in our lives this could include money, sports, ourselves, tv,...
Seven chapter promises warnings and punishments study
Here is a bible study including seven chapters of promises, punishments and rewards both from the old testament and the new testament to show a lot of the character of God. He would also send Jesus to die for us to show us how much He loves us
First in this study God gave Moses promises for Israel for today of blessings for obedience to Him and His word and will, but also many curses and punishments for disobedience all of which are listed here in Deuteronomy chapter 28
(Deuteronomy 28:1) And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:
(Deuteronomy 28:2) And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the...
Seven end times chapters bible study
Here are seven end times related chapters in the bible from the new testament: 2 from Matthew and the other five from the epistles. These all convey and prophecy the events of the end times, may of which are happening NOW and give the warning message to be ready for the rapture which could be any day at any time- only God the Father knows exactly when, but Jesus also warns us to be ready at all times.
I am starting this study with Matthew chapter 24 which is one of Jesus’ end times sermons which is very powerful and contains warnings of what to expect in direct teachings and parables. It warns us to be ready for the Lord to come back unexpectedly like a thief in the night with promises for both those people who are ready and those who are not.
(Matthew 24:1) And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings...
Seven chapter New Testament warning bible study and more
Here are seven chapters of warning of things that displease God and are to be repented of and avoided and some list consequences of them. Also there are warnings against falling away from the faith, too. This is presented in love, for I want to see people steer clear of things like hypocrisy, willful sin, and more so they don’t fall away and become reprobate but be stronger with their relationship in love with Jesus. I am also including some messages from Revelation further explaining things including consequences and a reminder from 1 John to confess sins too.
First up, there are powerful warnings in the New Testament which reinforce the messages given in the Old Testament. Here Jesus is speaking in Matthew 7 warning against hypocrisy, that the path is narrow, to be sure to do His Father’s will and to follow His words
(Matthew 7:1) Judge not, that ye be not...
Nine chapter warning bible study
Here is an eight chapter bible study with a good many warnings against various wrong doings but also some encouragement for doing good as well as even some blessings for obedience. Four of these chapters are from the Old Testament and five the New Testament as well as some verses from Revelation. I want to put these up there to really forcefully drive home what the Lord is NOT pleased with and also the consequences of falling away from a good relationship with God.
First in this study God gave Moses promises for Israel for today of blessings for obedience to Him and His word and will, but also many curses and punishments for disobedience all of which are listed here in Deuteronomy chapter 28
(Deuteronomy 28:1) And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee...
