x rays can't see your spirit
and doctors can't find your soul
all they can see is your body
nothing else is their role
science can't see the creator
when they look up at the sky
Though it's not like they even try

All of this beautiful universe
science wants us to believe
came from a hot little soup speck
so small that the eye couldn't see
 no one can say where it came from
and science doesn't really care
they just need it to be there

one day for no rhyme or reason
little soupie started to grow
into all of this universe
faster than you can say presto
in the twinkling of an eye
 abracadabra  POOF
is how the stars were born

later came some cosmic crash
one fine and magic day
that produced some fairy dust
from which our moon then formed
tiny bits of ice rained down
year after imaginary year
and poof we had the seas I hear

The first lifeform took a swim
and from him came all life
the fish and birds and animals
all that lives or breathes
descended from that little guy
until at last from monkey spawn
the age of man did dawn
