Eye has not seen

 nor has ear heard

 it has not entered

 into the heart of man 

The things that God 

has prepared

 for those who love Him

I had the strangest dream one night
I can't remember when
of a place beyond this world
where all your dreams come true

There is no night in that fair land
and no tears that fall from our eyes
and death is just a memory 
God's love and life will fill the air

The creatures all are gentle there
and the children play with lions
and men will fly with eagles wings
with the angels there in heaven

No bombs or guns are in that place
peace breaks out everywhere
the air and water are so pure
and the maidens are so fair

And after many thousand years
there will still be no end of days
no pain or sickness evermore
and no more need to be afraid

Such lovely mansions line the streets
and there are lovely parks to stroll
and there are only lovely people 
and such a very loving God
