"How you are fallen from heaven,
O Lucifer, son of the morning!
How you are cut down to the ground,
You who weakened the nations! 

And there was war in heaven:
 Michael and his angels 
fighting against the dragon.
 And the dragon and his angels
 fought back and waged war,
 but he was defeated,
and there was no place in heaven
for them ever more

then that great dragon 
was thrown down to the world 
that old serpent, 
who is called the devil and Satan,
 the deceiver of the whole world
 he was thrown down to the earth
I saw Satan fall like lightning
 from heaven with his angels

 I heard a voice from Heaven
 saying rejoice, O  heavens,
 and you who dwell in them!
but Woe to those on the earth
and to all in the sea! 
the devil is defeated and angry
knowing that his time is short
and has come down to you

How you are fallen from heaven,
O Lucifer, son of the morning!
How you are thrown down to the ground,
You who weakened the nations! 

 And at that time 
shall Michael stand up
 the great prince
 which stands for God's people
 then There will be a time
 of trouble like never before 
not since the dawn of history
until that time
