Ephesians Chapter 1

11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.

God is sovereign and they say nothing happens without his acknowledgement nor control. And we have prophecy that of course is precise because God is no liar and his prophets that are real speak the truth. So we hear about wars and rumours of wars and we see in the media horrific events taking place across the world aside from a suspected planned pandemic or what have you. That's as Christians we see a puzzle and we are told all things have been placed under the feet of the Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible says the Earth is God's footstool. We also know that the devil is the prince of the air and the god of this world.

It is written that we are a sheep to the slaughter. Recently a brother in Christ spoke about true Christians being Saints are given over to the hands of Satan.

Revelation 13:7

7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

Now they say in the end we win because the final Kingdom will be that of the true unblemished Lamb of God whom is risen and he is the great king of all Kings and the Lord of all Lords. If you read Daniel 7 particularly 18 to 28 look what it says

18 But the saints of the most High shall take the kingdom, and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever.

Now of course when this happens it is written that men will hide in caves and say save me from the Wrath of the Lamb. That is God's judgement on the entire Earth. We can relate this to the Seven Seals of Revelation. This will happen but when no one is sure.

As true Born Again Christians one thing must be acknowledged that you can't serve two masters and not to befriend the world as that would put you in the enemy path with the true God. The other thing is the biblical Lord Jesus Christ died for the sins of the world which is written in John 3:16 But he also came to set us free because as written in scripture if the son has set you free you are free indeed. Scripture says you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free. When you believe a lie you might work off misinformation and that will misguide you. The Bible says the devil was a liar and a murderer from the beginning and that there is no truth in him at all.

I am reminded John 10:10 continually.

So we know about world wars and we know about the people who suffered and the soldiers who were killed. Many times over land dispute or over some type of power grab. Sometimes this has to do with ideologies of world dominance or position. Sometimes Wars are started with an aggressor sort of enticing the other side. (We wrestle not against flesh and blood) They say in a nuclear war that nobody wins. Scripture tells us about such a war where they say the tongue will melt in the mouth. (Hiroshima) The heat will be so great and the likes of such a war will be such as man has never seen. Yes this is described in scripture. There will come a day that man will no longer make war as Jesus said. Will we be here or will future generations be here? Will our children be here? Such a thing is of the Devil who is building a kingdom. But it is not God's Kingdom because God doesn't reside in temples made out of human hands.

You are more valuable than sparrows according to Christ himself in the sermon on the mount. What will it profit a man or a woman to gain the world and forfeit their own soul. They say that our actions have consequences. Scripture says blessed are the peacemakers for they will be called children of God. Jesus said to turn the other cheek. But God tells us to stand up and he will puke out the lukewarm Church. Lukewarm preaching which appeals too easy salvation and an easy life. People look for the excuse not to change but Jesus said the people at the tower of Siloam they weren't worse sinners than sinners elsewhere. If they didn't repent they perished. He's not talking about  just off the face of the Earth but he's talking into a place called hell.

What does it mean to make Jesus Lord and savior of your life and I'm talking about the real Biblical unblemished Lamb of God who was a Jewish rabbi on Earth. Do you disobey the Vine. We are not under the law because the law persecutes us and convicts and it was there for a reason. We are under grace at the present time. God could have chose not to save us. But he didn't do that. The thief on the cross made the Messiah the Lord and savior of his life and he repented. They say give your life to Jesus. That means you're one of the sheep and you're engrafted into the body of Christ as a true member. When you are born again everything is made new. John 3:3

And a man who looks back is not fit for the kingdom of God. Jesus overcame death and the world. We have to put our faith and trust in the biblical Lord Jesus Christ Our Lord. And when we are weary and we are troubled on all sides we can pray about it because the yoke of Christ is easy. He said come to me all you who labour and need rest. On the other hand the devil prowls looking for those he can devour. That is not love but that is deception and that is evil. He can come as an angel of Light. And the astonishment is that this is allowed. Oh God tells us how to overcome. We are to put our faith in him. Of course God has an important purpose found in the scripture that tells us the things before us are only a shadow of things to come. People want to hear good and faithful servant. Jesus came to serve. He came to set us free from our iniquities. He came to give us life and an abundance of life. It is written the wages of sin is death. How many people are going to die today and tomorrow and next month and next year and be cast into the bottomless pit? Is this a place your looking forward going to or are you going to continue in your stubbornness and ignorance of disobeying the true God to follow lies and a false way to real life. I remember a friend who passed away once saying to me when I was preaching the gospel to him relax God is in control of everything. Meanwhile his verbal language was worldly and His Hands lit cigarette after cigarette. His speech was on worldliness. No he was not a true Christian nor was he born again. And no he did not give his life to the biblical Lord Jesus. He loved Sports. He loved nightclubs and not that he was entangled in that life but he was thrilled by worldliness. He despised his own soul. But he was also mindful of it. He questioned that he did read the Bible at times but he doubted it and said it was just a book written by men in the end. So was he in control giving his life to Jesus and really living the true life in Christ? Where did he put his faith? He threw it away and put his trust in mankind. What about you are you doing the same thing. Have you given your life to the Lamb of God being the Biblical Jesus Christ. Are you truly saved? And whom is truly your lord and savior

In my after notes it is written that the law is Holy and that the law is our judge. Jesus said that he is not judging us but there is one whom is. Now of course God extended grace but people have a habit of abusing grace and diminishing the things in scripture that they don't like because it doesn't fit their narrative. Those who love are of God. God is sovereign and we cannot judge God. What we can do and must do is put our faith in the atonement being the finished work on the cross of the biblical Lord Jesus Christ. We can obey the vine or we can just dis-obey the vine and face the consequences. Or we could let God finish that good work in us in faith.
