The foolish man verses the wise man.
I want to emphasize that it's a very serious thing to fall into the hands of the Lord. You might have Christians that were truly saved but they are so backslidden that they can lose their salvation. We have to put our faith in God. God knows who are truly saved and those that are truly being saved. It's easy to judge yes but at the same time we need to be serious about the faith once delivered on to the Saints. See we can't read people's hearts like God but we can see by the fruits and know them. Why does somebody want salvation? Is it for the wrong reasons. Your will be done not mine. Amen
John 10:10 is profound.
Revelation 3:2
“Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.”( KJV)
So perhaps I will explain this in another blog. But nonetheless God expects the works to be perfect as a body in Christ. (He's talking to the church being the congregation) But I will have you know that John 2:16 is before us today to the extend that it will bring judgment unless those things are strengthened that remain and that are dying. So yes your works are important and they are evidence of your salvation. However, there was also a church in the book of Revelation that God was speaking to that were weak but were rich in faith. So faith is extremely important. Will I find faith when I return. You must be born again. John 3:3

Taking advantage even backsliding shall grace abound. Apostle Paul says God forbid.
God forbid ” (Romans 6:2). To desire to continue in sin shows a misunderstanding of this abundant grace and a contempt for Jesus' sacrifice. May 18, 2020
Matthew 7:24-27
King James Version
24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:
Luke 16 This is a person that lived a luxurious life for himself. This is a person that was not saved and that was worldly. Most likely somebody loved and worshiped by the world. When God says you cannot befriend the world without becoming his enemy that is exactly a thousand percent true.
21 And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.
22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame .
Now you can say this is Old Testament and that we are not under the law and if you're covered by the blood on the way to heaven you're going. It's true you're not to have faith in your works. What I mean is your Works don't save you but you could have faith when you do your works because you base it off the true God being the Lord Jesus Christ who died for you. That means you know God and there is change in your life as you have been born again. Everything is made new so it's not a dead faith. Your works are evidence of your conversion.
So what are you founding your salvation upon? What house have you built? Where is your faith? You see he's not talking about a physical building and physical strength because in your weakness you are strong. He's talking about obeying the Vine and being able to understand the word of God for many are destroyed for lack of understanding. 3:44 p.m. March 22 2022
God has a chosen people and those were his people that he delivered by his deliver Moses. In the wilderness there was rebellion and God had to address it and I suggest there are two links that you read because God takes sin extremely serious. Many people violate "Grace" as apostle Paul said shall grace abound: God forbid . In other words shall grace increase because you keep sinning. 5:44 pm March 23, 2023
In my after word I wanted to stress that there are rich people that are drunken with religion but think that they are saved but they are not. That is just one aspect. They might appear to have strength in possessions and they don't like anything because they are filthy rich and their comfort is in this life and not the life to come. They don't store up treasures for heaven. But on the other hand you might have wealthy people or even middle class people that have money and appear to be strong. Matter of fact these people might be respected in societies across the world yet just like those Pharisees that appeared righteous unto men so do these people yet they are not saved. It's not that we don't want people saved because we do. Just as Christ said you must be born again John 3:3 it's true that the rejected cornerstone is our Rock and savior Jesus Christ the unblemished Lamb of God whom is risen. But is he really our Lord and savior of our lives. Do you Listen obey and understand. Take a look at John the Baptist he was saved and yet he was nothing rich and in fact the Pharisees were irritated by him. The apostles were not super rich people. Many martyrs did not love their own lives to the death and yet they are saved. The truth will set you free.

Regarding the links
Studying this passage will show you that God takes sin extremely serious. Especially for those who were delivered or those he made a covenant with. Especially sin committed against him. We know he's forgiving but there are certain provisions that apply if you persist in sin especially very serious sin such as idolatry. And the children may bear the brunch.

I heard a sister in Christ tell me one time that there's no condemnation for those people that are saved under Christ. The emphasis was obvious in the fruits at certain times. To be honest it is taken scripture out of context and abusing "Grace." So here is a link that is very important.
