19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you .
Isaiah 42:16
King James Version
16 And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them.
James 4:4
King James Version
4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
What is truly disturbing is to say a Christian loves God but can't distinguish between the free gift and too UN hinge. We are not saved by works and then they make excuses and hold on to all those things that defiles their souls. We are not to become Pharisees but it is our job to be unspotted from the world especially once everything has been made new. Once you were baptized. See it's a misconception and a totally dis-regard and misunderstanding for the word of God. There has to be evidence of your conversion and it is evident in your works. Look at Matthew 5:16 16 "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your " good works ", and glorify your Father which is in heaven ." That they might see your good works. You do it to glorify God and because righteousness and holiness are extremely important if you're part of God's Kingdom. If you have come out of the world and you're now a member of the family of God change occurred and God is working with you to finish that good working in you. Do you get rewards? What a foolish question in a sense. Christ said what reward have you if you only love those who love you. James in the book of James said if a poor man walks in say to a service and you said go sit back there and you offered the front seat to a wealthy man you have done evil. You see but this is real life. I guess in life it can get confusing when there are wicked people that would look like that poor man.
So what is the remedy? John 10:10 what is written in John 10:10
John 10:10
King James Version
10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
His way is by righteousness and we need his righteousness imputed onto us. He said to turn the other cheek and not to cast the first stone which so many do today. Look at Isaiah 42:16 those things that are crooked God will make them straight and those things that are dark God will make them light. 10:13 3.27.22
Look at the next verse
Titus 2:11-12
For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world.
"God's grace bringeth salvation". Grace through faith. 10:21 am 3.27.22
We are commanded to live godly but the world loves its own. It is impossible to serve the true God and to follow the world that is full of evil and rebellion against the true God that they don't know or think that they know unless even if they are atheists. It's redundant in a sense that men search for life in outer space when Christ is the life. John 10:10
I am reminded that the gospel is the good news. It is not the fake news. It is not the bad news but the good news. Look what is written..
1 John 2:17
“And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.”
King James Version (KJV)
Pilot asked Christ what is truth? John 10:10 but look what is written here
Matthew 16:25
King James Version
25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it .
For who sake? For the sake of the Gospel. For the sake of the Messiah whom is risen. For the sake of God's will.
Now many times we study the Pharisees and even the Sadduciies and their leaven. And the apostles and perhaps the disciples argued over the bread with misunderstood. Remember they set heavy burdens on men shoulders but they themselves did not lift a finger. And he was trying to explain over their arguing but they kept misunderstanding so look what he said in The book of Matthew.
M16.12 "Then understood they how that he bade them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees".
What was wrong with the Pharisees and Sadducees?
This can be a huge topic in itself but it's not the just of this blog. Christ chose the elect and others out of this world. Look what is written in the book of Leviticus.
Leviticus 17:11
11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul .
Without the shedding of blood there's no forgiveness for sins.
So I found a couple of things said about this and I will just list them here.
First of all they denied Christ their Messiah. He called them whitewashed tombs and of their father the devil. Isaiah 53 they should have known. They loved the chief seats in the marketplace. This is just for starters. In a sense to me it's almost like they turned the grace of God into religion.
"The Sadducees refused to go beyond the written Torah (first five books of the Bible) and thus, unlike the Pharisees, denied the immortality of the soul, bodily resurrection after death, and—according to the Acts of the Apostles (23:8), the fifth book of the New Testament—the existence of angelic spirits."
The gospel is the good news John 3:16.
Remember the world hated Christ first as he said himself. But he loved us even before the foundations of the world were laid. So look what it says in the next two verses.
Proverbs 29:27
An unjust man is detestable to the righteous, and one whose way is upright is detestable to the wicked.
Isaiah 66:5
You who tremble at His word, hear the word of the LORD: "Your brothers who hate you and exclude you because of My name have said, 'Let the LORD be glorified that we may see your joy!' But they will be put to shame."
What reward have you if you only love those who love you? 10:44 a.m. March 27th 2022
Remember Apostle Stephen was stoned and even Joseph was sold into slavery.
In my after notes this can be complicated to them that think they understand or them who misunderstand. But Christ said for his namesake such would be hated. YEAH the Jews put out of the synagogues those who professed in the name of Christ and excommunicated them. The world puts out those who truly walk in the light and in true righteousness. Even people that profess to be good in their hearts and are well known in the world but in their fruits it is evident that they hate the light. And even in stories of the Rich and famous of those that came to Christ in whatever form if they left the light that barely shined they did it to return to the world. You see why James wrote it is enmity to befriend the world and it makes you God's enemy. But even professing Christians will say we are not under the law and look for ways to follow the world and be in two kingdoms but you can't serve two masters. 11:13 am same day.
There are backsliders and people whom abuse grace. No one is perfect but bless disciple Roberts. My aim is for all us to get in a habit of examining ourselves. I don't condemn people ministries. And love is important as I did read about Paul's 2nd 3rd warming to the Corinthians.
What does James 2:26 mean?
"Here James completes his case for an often-misunderstood teaching. His point is that genuine faith in God naturally leads the believer to participate in good works. This isn't a particularly radical idea, even from a non-spiritual point of view. If we actually believe that God is truly God and that He has saved us through our faith in Christ, why would we not obey Him? Our deeds don't earn our salvation, but what we do proves whether or not we really have saving faith."
Do We Deny or Proclaim Christ?
"This is one terrifying passage where Jesus says “everyone who acknowledges me before men, the Son of Man also will acknowledge before the angels of God, but the one who denies me before men will be denied before the angels of God” (Luke 12:8-9). How many people that you work with, or among your friends or in your family know that you are a Christian? If you deny Christ before others then Christ will deny you before the Father and the angels of God. We have far too many who claim to be Christians but are not living like Christians. They are silent, underground, secret agent Christians who are afraid to bring Christ up in the conversation because we fear man more than God (Matt 10:28) and they are not like Paul who was not ashamed of the gospel (Rom 1:16). If we are ashamed of Christ, so will He of us on the day of His visitation, but then it will be too late."
No Christian is sinless but we do sin less but those who keep “on sinning has either seen him or known him.”
"A tough but spiritually beneficial question to ask ourselves regularly is, “What is my spiritual condition?” The prophet Jeremiah called God’s people to honest self-evaluation and repentance: “Let us examine our ways and test them, and let us return to the LORD” (Lamentations 3:40). Scripture calls us to “test everything,” renounce evil, and “hold fast what is good” (1 Thessalonians 5:21–22, ESV)"
Ye are not of the world therefore hateth you.
John 15:19
King James Version
19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you .
Isaiah 42:16
King James Version
16 And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them.
