"WALK IN THE LIGHT" BY ANDREW WOMMACK

By DAVID A. MCMILLEN, 2019-11-10

Walk In The Light

Matthew 26:41 'Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.'

How do you walk in the Spirit? The way you do this is through living by, conducting your actions according to, and following the leading of the Word of God as quickened to you by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit and the Word of God agree perfectly because the Holy Spirit is the one who inspired the written Word of God.

Denying the flesh will not result in walking in the Spirit. Walking in the Spirit will result in denying the flesh. This may seem like a subtle difference to some, but the difference is truly profound. As a whole, false...

"EXERCISE YOUR SOUL" BY ANDREW WOMMACK

Exercise Your Soul

Matthew 26:41 'Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.'

Our spirit is not our problem. The born-again Christian receives a new spirit at conversion, that is just like Jesus' (1 Jn. 4:17) because it is the Spirit of Jesus. Our born-again spirit is always willing to do God's will. It's our flesh that is the problem.

The flesh, as Jesus describes it here, not only includes our physical body but also describes our soul. God has given every believer everything it takes to walk in victory, but 'we have this treasure in earthen vessels' (2 Cor. 4:7). That is saying that our spirit, where God has...

"GOD WANTS TO USE YOU" BY DAVID MCMILLEN

WE ALWAYS HEAR, AROUND CHRISTMAS TIME, THAT JESUS IS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON AND HE IS.  HOWEVER, HE IS THE REASON FOR EVERY SEASON.  I NEVER GET TIRED OF READING ABOUT MARY AND JOSEPH,...

"SHARPER THAN A TWO EDGED SWORD" BY DAVID MCMILLEN

By DAVID A. MCMILLEN, 2019-11-08

I HAVE WRITTEN BEFORE ON THE POWER OF GOD'S WORD BUT HAVE A LITTLE MORE TO SAY ON THAT SUBJECT.  SOME PEOPLE DON'T BELIEVE IN GOD'S WORD.  IF THEY DID, THEY WOULD NOT BE IN NEED OR SICK OR DEPRESSED.  I AM NOT ONE OF THOSE "NAME IT AND CLAIM IT" CHRISTIANS BUT I DO BELIEVE IN GOD'S WORD AND HE SAYS TO ASK AND IT SHALL BE GIVEN TO ME.  READ IT FOR YOURSELF.  (MATTHEW 7:7-8 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:  For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.)   AND, (MATTHEW 21:22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.)  NOW THERE ARE THINGS WE HAVE TO DO AND THAT IS TO NOT ASK ANYTHING THAT IS NOT ACCORDING TO HIS WILL AND WORD.  THE OTHER THING IS THAT WE HAVE TO BE SEEKING HIM WITH ALL OUR...

You Have It All--in The Spirit

Matthew 26:41 'Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.'

The Bible presents salvation as a life transforming experience. Change is one of the distinguishing characteristics of a true believer. Yet, failure to understand that this change takes place in the spirit first, and then is reflected in our outward appearance through our thoughts and actions in direct proportion to the way we renew our minds, causes much confusion.

This change has to take place in our born-again spirit first. Why is that? If you were fat before you got saved, you will be fat after you get saved, unless...

HAVE YOU EVER READ PSALM 91?  IT REALLY IS A POWERFUL CHAPTER AND WELL WORTH READING.  MY MOTHER-IN-LAW MEMORIZED THIS AND SAID SHE WOULD SAY IT EVERY MORNING.  I AM ALSO GOING TO DO THIS TO KEEP MY MIND ACTIVE.

WHEN YOU READ IT, JUST REMEMBER THE FIRST VERSE (He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.)  TO RECEIVE ALL THAT IT MENTIONS IN THE CHAPTER, WE MUST DO WHAT IT SAYS.  IT DOESN'T SAY TO JUST VISIT THERE.  THAT IS WHAT A LOT OF CHRISTIANS DO.  THEY JUST VISIT WHEN IT IS CONVENIENT FOR THEM.  WE MUST BE DEDICATED TO GOD IF WE WANT HIS PROTECTION.  WHEN WE GET OUT FROM UNDER HIS PROTECTION, THAT IS WHEN WE GET SICK OR SOMETHING ELSE HAPPENS.  WE CAN'T BLAME HIM FOR THE THINGS THAT HAPPEN TO US.  A LOT OF...

Choose To Focus On All That Is Good

Mark 14:38 'Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak.'

Temptation is linked directly to what we think upon (Heb. 11:15). Temptation has to be entered into. We can avoid temptation by avoiding thoughts that generate temptation (Prov. 23:7). Since it is impossible to not think, we cannot just try to reject the negative thoughts in this world, but we must choose to think on the positive truths of God. This is where prayer comes in.

In prayer, we have our minds stayed upon God and therefore, are not receptive to thoughts that conceive temptation. Temptation or sin must be conceived...

"GOD LOVES YOU" BY DAVID MCMILLEN

By DAVID A. MCMILLEN, 2019-11-06

DO YOU FEAR ABOUT THINGS YOU CAN'T CONTROL?  YOU KNOW THAT THIS IS THE WORK OF THE DEVIL, DON'T YOU?  HE USES FEAR TO GET YOUR MIND OFF JESUS.  DON'T LET HIM GET AWAY WITH IT.  FEAR STARTS IN THE MIND AND YOU CAN'T BE FEARFUL ABOUT SOMETHING YOU DON'T THINK ABOUT.  GOD HAS A LOT TO SAYS ABOUT FEAR.  ONE IS FOUND IN 1ST JOHN 4:18 AND SAYS "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love."

"HIS FATHOMLESS PAIN" BY ANDREW WOMMACK

His Fathomless Pain

Luke 22:44 'And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.'

LUKE 22:43-44

It is interesting that Luke is the only one of the gospel writers to mention that Jesus' sweat was as great drops of blood. This is probably because Luke was a physician (Col. 4:14), and therefore, this had special significance to him.

There have been documented cases of people actually sweating drops of blood under extreme emotional pressure. This might explain why Luke is the only writer to mention the angel strengthening Jesus. Just as when Jesus encountered Satan during His forty days of...

Meet Brother H-963

Brother H-963 is a gospel artist, and worship leader. He released “ Declare His Glory ,” a set of seven spiritual songs, in September 2019. This album has the creative use of key Bible verses.

In addition to his love for Christ, he has sizable love for his wife, and three children. Brother H-963 got his name back in college. Because he used the word Hallelujah so much, his friends started calling him Brother Hallelujah — hence Brother H-963.

Furthermore, the 963 in his name comes from the digits on the side of his...
