Epistle to Jude bible study
I am now doing a short bible study on the epistle written by Jude to us, for it really does not fit with any others so I am doing it all on its own, even though it is but one chapter. Jude is the next to last book of the bible- only Revelation comes after. Even though it is short, one chapter with 25 verses, it does contain some powerful messages even for us today because it is written to all those who are called to the faith as it says in its salutation. Jude, a brother to James says he wanted to write about common salvation but feel like he needs to address that certain people who pervert the grace of Christ have crept in comparing those to others who did that and then were destroyed or punished severely. Even Michael only rebuked Satan but these evil blaspheme what they don’t understand. Jude does promise that the Lord will come with His elect numbering in the tens of thousands....
Epistle to the Hebrews bible study
Here is a bible study on very powerful epistle to the Hebrews in many ways. It is not known who wrote this epistle for certain, not that it matters, for the message is far more important than who the Holy Spirit may have used to write this powerful message first to the Hebrews and then to all of us through the bible. It contains many important things for us nowadays as well, including many quotes form the old testament throught the epistle.
In chapter 1 the author of Hebrews speaks some very powerful things concerning Jesus and why He was and still is to be exalted about all measure by everyone, even the angels, for He made everyone. God at the end speaks of ministering angels sent to all of us
(Hebrews 1:1) Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets,
(Hebrews 1:2) but in these last...
General Epistle of James bible study
Here is a study on the general epistle of James, a five chapter epistle with loads of good advice, encouragements and directions for life on what is good and what to avoid for people nowadays, so it is some very good word to study. It is thought to be written by a brother of Jesus (and apostle) too.
In chapter 1 of the epistle James encourages us to count trials with joy to produce steadfastness, and to not be double- minded on anything. It then encourages us to be humble and steadfast. There are many more encouragements and more advice given on temptation, keeping the tongue bridled and what religion is and is not
(James 1:1) James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, To the twelve tribes in the Dispersion: Greetings.
(James 1:2) Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds,

Epistles of Peter bible study
This is a study of both of Peter’s epistles in the bible. These letters were written to the dispersed Christians and Jewish Christians and Jews, perhaps he mentions in his salutation in the first letter but also they contain much powerful advice and warnings for us nowadays too. Because of that reason these two epistles also make for good study from which you can grow and mature in your walk with Jesus
In 1 Peter chapter 1 after the salutation a promise is made for an untarnished inheritance. Peter also commends his subjects for their faith stating how it leads to salvation then encouraging us to holiness citing our ransoming with Jesus’ blood. He states we are born again of the imperishable and that while all flesh is like grass, the word of the Lord is remains forever
(1 Peter 1:1) Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, To...
Gospel of Matthew bible study chapters 1 through 8
Here is the gospel of Matthew, in four parts. As with the other gospels that I have posted, this gospel relates a version of the life story of our Lord and Savior, Jesus, the other versions told in the other three gospels. It also contains many powerful teachings of Jesus, namely the Sermon on the Mount, plus many parables that He tells throughout the gospel. Jesus gives a number of end times teachings, too in more than one section in the gospel. Due to the length of the book, 28 chapters, I am splitting it into 4 parts, which can be studied independently or better taken one at a time sequentially to make a study of the entire gospel. I will try to keep comments to a minimum to maximize the impact of the bible verses
Chapter 1 of Matthew relates the genealogy of Jesus then goes on to relate a dream of Joseph and the birth of Jesus
