Jacob bible study Genesis chapters 28 through 36
Here is a bible study which tells all about the life story of Jacob, from chapters 28 to 35 then goes on to tell about Esau and his descendants in chapter 36. It gives details aboutJacob’s marriages with the different people such as Rachel and Leah the birth of all twelve of his sons, his return from Laban including his meeting with his Esau again. He has a number of wonderful encounters with God all along the way and God really blesses all that Jacob did. I am now including a link to the study which includes Jacob and Esau’s birth and Abraham and Isaac’s life here
Joseph bible study Genesis chapters 37 through 44
Here is a bible study that continues the narrative in Genesis that switches the emphasis from Jacob to Joseph, although Jacob also figures some in it, especially in chapter 37, and chapter 38 deals with Judah and his family and their activities. Much of the story in these chapters deals with Joseph’s being sold as a slave and transported to Egypt to serve under Pharaoh where eventually his gifting to interpret dreams would see Joseph become second in charge behind Pharaoh who recognized Joseph’s giftings and the fact that God was with Joseph from very early on, almost immediately after they met . For more on Jacob, and the all of the others you also can turn to my previous bible study here, which deals with Jacob:

Israel to Egypt bible study Genesis 45 through Exodus 2
Here is a bible study after Joseph fully reveals himself to his brethren, has them go back and bring Jacob and all his come down so they all can live together in an area that Joseph sets up for them with the current Pharaoh’s approval. They indeed all go down there, and then they would end up spending no less than 430 years there. After Joseph’s death the Egyptians start treating the Israelis harsher and harsher as the Israelis have exploded in population size and were then at that time considered a threat to Egypt and its well being. This study is a continuation and conclusion of Joseph’s life and a continuation of the last study which is found at this link:

Moses and the Plagues on Egypt bible study Exodus chapters 3 through 12
Here is a bible study which contains the commissioning of Moses, then his interactions with Pharaoh and then all of the ten plagues that God used to get Israel finally free of their slavery in Egypt. These chapters show God at His most powerful using plagues to achieve His purpose, namely to free the children of Israel, His children from the slavery and oppression that they were undergoing in Egypt. This oppression started in the end of this bible study which also shows how Israel got to Egypt. Here is the link for it
Do you know how much God loves you? He really does love you
(John 3:16) "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
Why would God do that? Romans makes it very clear that we are all sinners
(Romans 3:23) for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
(Romans 6:23) For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
It is clear that we need to be saved but Jesus died for us while we were yet sinners
(Romans 5:8) but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Salvation however is indeed a gift from God which cannot be earned
(Ephesians 2:8) For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God,
(Ephesians 2:9) not a result of works, so that no one may...
Do you really know how much God loves you? He really does love you and so more than you can ever know because these verses in John 3 state just how much He loves you.
(John 3:16) "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
(John 3:17) For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.
What are we to be saved from? Romans is very clear that we need to be saved from our own sin
(Romans 3:23) for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
(Romans 3:24) and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,
(Romans 6:23) For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
These verses make it clear that we need to be saved...
Israel from Egypt a bible study Exodus chapters 13 through 20 Deuteronomy 5

Israel from Egypt bible study Exodus chapters 13 through 20, Deuteronomy 5
These next 8 chapters in Exodus, chapters 13 through 20, take the Israelites out of Egypt and up to Mount Sinai, but not without pursuit as God for one last time hardens Pharaohs heart, causing him to pursue the Israelites into the Red Sea, which God so graciously opens for Israel to let them pass on the dry ground yet closes it back over the Egyptian army and even presumably Pharaoh destroying them all. Then Israel after praising and worshipping God for their deliverance, starts complaining almost immediately about not having provisions such as food and water, and even wants to be back in Egypt. God bears with it somewhat patiently, and then the Israelites end up at Mount Sinai where they receive a powerful visit form God and the commandments. Here is a link to the prior study of all the plagues and events that happened in Egypt done by God to set Israel free
Golden calf and God visitation bible study Exodus 24, 32-34
Here is the story of the Golden calf idol as a warning to people of what to not do. After receiving the commandments Moses then was called up the mountain again by God to receive them on stone and on detailed instructions on building the Ark of the Covenant. The people below did not know what happened to Moses and even wondered if he had died so they mad Aaron build them this idol. If it would not have been for Moses’ intercession and pleas for mercy on the people God would likely have destroyed the people that he brought out of Israel, save for Moses and Aaron because of their act of making this golden calf.
