Book of Numbers bible study chapters 9 through 16
These events that are chronicled in the book of Numbers likely happen after the commandments are given and perhaps also the golden calf issue, where Israel gets into position to check it out, and sends scouts to check out the promised land and then they get two conflicting reports, one of faith and one unbelieving. They children sadly go with the unbelieving ones and that unbelief and rebellion, perhaps along with their other grumbling dooms them to wander the wilderness 40 years, and as such almost all die in the wilderness and only the descendants see the promised land. Also in this study towards the end is where a group of rebels led by Korah try to usurp Moses’ authority, but God deals with that.

Here are the next group of chapters in numbers chronicling the continuing adventures of Israel in the wilderness where they are doomed to walk for their disobedience, rebellion and disbelief of what Moses told them. In this next group of chapters more events happen such as Moses losing his right to go to the promised land due to disobedience, the bronze serpent and also Balaam and the talking donkey. This is a continuation of the previous study and here is a link to that study here

Book of Deuteronomy bible study chapters 1 through 8
Here is a bible study of the beginning of the book of Deuteronomy which basically is a charge given by Moses just before the people are to cross the Jordan River and get to the Promised Land to dispossess the inhabitants of it. It seems to be more of an epistle by Moses to the people of Israel to remind them to fear and serve God and do all of the commandments but there are two noteworthy sections one at the beginning and the other at the end worthy of being featured in bible studies. This also is a continuation of the bible study too of Numbers and before. Here is a link to the earlier bible study in Numbers
Book of Deuteronomy bible study chapters 9 through 16

Deuteronomy chapter nine is a reminder to not fear the inhabitants of the new land and of their own rebellion earlier

Book of Deuteronomy bible study chapters 17 through 26
Here is the third bible study from Deuteronomy, with the different rules for living and such as sacrifice, the Levitical priests and many different areas and actions of life to show you just how many rules for the Jews there really were. A similar section is found in Exodus chapters 21 through 23 and the entire book of Leviticus for those interested in studying that. This study continues with a lot of things in the past so please feel free to go back to read it.
Deuteronomy bible study chapters 27 through 34
Here are the concluding 8 chapters of Deuteronomy, chapters 27 through 34 which really and forcefully drive home the critical importance for the Israelites to obey God and His commandments enumerating the consequences both for obedience and rebellion and refusing to obey. Even though we are under grace these chapters have blessings that apply to us today too as Christians. They also encourage repentance for those who fall away, and encourage people to choose life. Moses sees the Promised Land by going up in a mountain, and then dies there because he is not allowed to go to the promised land with the Israelis because of his disobedience and unbelief in Numbers 20, where he struck a rock when he was supposed to speak and command it to bring forth its water. Here is a link to the previous chapters for those who might want to do a bible study of the whole book of Deuteronomy
Entry into and Conquest of the Promised Land bible study
Here is a bible study of the children of Israel under Joshua’s leadership, under God, finally enter into and conquer the Promised Land. The scriptures covered in this study are in the book of Joshua, chapters 1 through 12, where all the conquest is described in some detail from the entry and the conquest and defeat of the cities in the Promised Land, which Moses saw from across the Jordan river but could not enter into, dying there in Deuteronomy chapter 34. This study is a further continuation of that one so I am giving a link to that previous study for you to go back to if you so desire
Book of Judges Bible study
This is a selective bible study on the book of Judges covering the first three chapters of the book for background information and the judges Gideon and Samson, who saw many miracles from God in their collective lifetimes. The story in Judges is set after the Israelites had settled in the Promised Land in the areas allotted to them by God. They then start a pattern of falling away into idolatry, worshipping the local gods like Baal, then God punishes them for this idolatry and apostasy by sending enemy nations and peoples to harass even conquer them for a while, then when the children repent of their wrongdoing God then has mercy on them and raises up a judge whom God uses to deliver the children from the evil.
