Salvation study featuring John 6 to 9 and Romans

Here is a salvation bible study which features the gospel of John chapters 6 through 9 as well as various scripture passages from the book of Romans. The four chapters here in John present varied messages about how Jesus is the bread of life and makes promises of living water, that through Jesus one can find freedom from anything, for whom the Son sets free is free indeed, and also relates the story of the blind man being given his sight. The scriptures in Romans present the gospel message in a powerful way so that you can invite Jesus in your heart for a relationship which cannot be compared with anything.

I am starting this bible study with John chapter 6 and John chapter 6 is the chapter where at the beginning  Jesus feeds the 5000 in a powerful miracle then tells the Jews how He is indeed the bread of life and that none and drink and that only through Him...

Salvation study featuring John 10 to 13 and Romans

Here is a salvation teaching featuring John 10 to 13 along with a strong teaching in Romans. The scriptures in John have powerful teachings from Jesus stating how He is the shepherd that gave His life for His sheep and the door and any others are but a thief trying to steal kill and destroy but Jesus came to sacrifice Himself for His sheep. The whole story of Lazarus being raised from the dead is related as is Jesus final return to Jerusalem along with the Lord’s Supper and His command to love one another as He loved us.

To begin this bible study, John chapter 10 is the teaching where Jesus then tells the Jews how that He is the door to the sheep and the good Shepherd and that those who come to Him enter in and find pasture. He also gives His sheep life everlasting. Jesus says how He will lay down His life for His sheep too, which He does later, atoning for all mankind’s...

Salvation study featuring John 14 through 21 and Romans

Here is a powerful salvation teaching featuring the final eight chapters of John, 14 through 21 and a good salvation teaching in Romans too. The chapters in John have three chapters of teaching and discussion by Jesus to His disciples with much good things for us today, too, His prayer for His disciples to His Father, and then passion of Christ in 18 to 21. The verses in Romans display the salvation message very powerfully.

To start this bible study, In John chapter 14 Jesus starts this teaching with powerful promises of a dwelling place, and that we will do all that He does and more along with the promise of the Holy Spirit. He also says that only He is the way to the Father- and no other way.

(John 14:1)  Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

(John 14:2)  In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not...

Salvation study featuring Acts chapters 1 through 5 and Romans

Here is a salvation teaching featuring the story of the early church starting with the commission of the disciples to go everywhere when they have the power of the Holy Spirit, the coming of the Holy Spirit, then the miracles and conversion that followed as well as the stories of persecution, these chapters relate how the church started and grew to a vibrant church and related what they did afterwards. The message in Romans related the gospel message in a very powerful way, then.

To start off this bible study, here is Acts chapter 1 where Jesus gives them the final commands to await the coming of the Holy Spirit and as the apostles wait, they elect a new person, Matthias to replace Judas the one who betrayed Jesus then committed suicide.

(Acts 1:1)  The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach,

Salvation bible study featuring Luke and Romans

By James J Dougherty, 2014-02-21

Salvation bible study featuring Luke and Romans

Here is a salvation bible study featuring various chapters from the gospel of Luke and messages too, such as the Samaritan parable and the need to repent. This also includes a teaching relating the need to repent and parables relating the joy of heaven following even one sinner’s repentance. Also is the passion of Christ in Luke and a powerful salvation message and teaching in Romans.

I am starting this bible study with the Samaritan parable in Luke 10 which illustrates powerfully the need to love our neighbor as ourselves

And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?

(Luke 10:25)

He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?

(Luke 10:26)

And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all...

Salvation bible study featuring Matthew and Romans

By James J Dougherty, 2014-02-22

Salvation study featuring Matthew and Romans

Here is a salvation bible study featuring five chapters from Matthew: 13, 18, and 26 through 28. These are first a chapter of parables which many are salvation related encouraging many to believe, chapter 18 deals with offenses, forgiveness and unforgiveness and prayer also having many powerful messages. Also included is a powerful message of the passion of Christ where Jesus died to redeem man of His sins and offer everlasting life with God for those who accept Him as Lord and are saved. The verses in Romans present the gospel message in a powerful way.

I am starting this bible study  with Matthew chapter 13 which is a whole large collection of parables concerning salvation and the value of the kingdom of God, including the parable of the sower, the parable of the wheat and the tares, the parable pearl of great price and more.

(Matthew 13:1)  The same day went Jesus out of the...

Salvation bible study featuring Mark and Romans

By James J Dougherty, 2014-02-22

Salvation bible study featuring Mark and Romans

Here is a potent salvation message featuring Mark chapters 4 and 9 and the passion of  Christ in Mark, which is from chapters 14 through 16. The three earlier chapters offer various teachings and parables not only relevant to salvation but everyday life and several powerful promises of God. The Romans scriptures deliver the message of salvation in a very powerful way.

I am starting this bible study with Mark chapter 4 which contain the parable of the sower who sows the word of God which is what this does, too. Also in this teaching is the parable of the mustard seed which also is related showing the seed growing into a big seed. Encouragement is given to Christians to share the word, too and at the end Jesus calms a storm at sea.

(Mark 4:1)  And he began again to teach by the sea side: and there was gathered unto him a great multitude, so that he entered into a ship, and sat in...

By James J Dougherty, 2014-02-22

Salvation bible study featuring various gospels and Romans

Here is a salvation study featuring chapters from Matthew, Luke, and John as well as a powerful message from Romans. These contain teachings and parables which powerfully express the gospel message including the need to repent, heaven’s joy over those who do repent, the brad of life and how Jesus sets us all free, in words spoken by Jesus Himself. The epistle to the Romans also powerfully presents the gospel message too as I present passages from various chapters in that epistle.

I am starting this bible study  with Matthew chapter 13 which is a whole large collection of parables concerning salvation and the value of the kingdom of God, including the parable of the sower, the parable of the wheat and the tares, the parable pearl of great price and more.

(Matthew 13:1)  The same day went Jesus out of the house, and sat by the sea side.

(Matthew 13:2)...
