STAY CLOSE TO JESUS


HAS YOUR PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS GROWN COLD? YOU KNOW YOU STILL LOVE HIM BUT YOU DON'T FEEL AS CLOSE AS YOU DID WHEN YOU FIRST ACCEPTED HIM AS YOUR SAVIOR. WELL, HE SAID IN MATTHEW 24:12 "AND BECAUSE INIQUITY SHALL ABOUND, THE LOVE OF MANY SHALL WAX COLD." I LOOKED UP THE WORD INIQUITY IN THE DICTIONARY AND IT SAID: WICKEDNESS, WICKED ACT OR SIN. THAT COVERS A LOT TO DRAW US AWAY FROM READING THE WORD AND FELLOWSHIPPING WITH JESUS. THIS IS WHERE ROMANS 12:2 COMES IN. "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."

WHERE ARE SATAN'S ANGELS NOW? 






I HAVE MENTION ANGELS A LOT IN MY WRITINGS BUT MOST OF IT HAS BEEN ABOUT GOD'S ANGLES. THIS MORNING I WANT TO TALK ABOUT SATAN'S ANGELS. IT IS COMMONLY THOUGHT THAT SATAN TOOK A THIRD OF THE ANGELS IN HEAVEN WITH HIM WHEN HE WAS CAST OUT. I AM NOT SURE ABOUT THIS BUT I WILL SHOW YOU WHERE THIS COMES FROM AND TRY TO SHOW YOU WHERE THESE ANGELS ARE NOW ACCORDING TO GOD'S WORD.

WHERE IS YOUR "ALL THE WORLD"?




 

ISN'T IT GREAT TO KNOW THAT THE LORD HAS THOUGHT OF PEACE TOWARD US?  THAT IS WHAT JEREMIAH 29:11 SAYS "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end."  JUST TO THINK THAT THE LORD WHO CREATED THIS WHOLE UNIVERSE, THINKS ABOUT US. WHEN READING THIS, WE HAVE TO REALIZE THIS WAS HUNDREDS OF YEARS BEFORE JESUS, OUR LORD, WAS EVEN BORN.  I WOULD ASSUME THAT THE "EXPECTED END" WOULD BE OUR SALVATION AND OUR...

YOU KNOW, WE CAN PRAY CONSTANTLY FOR GOD TO SAVE SOMEONE BUT IT JUST DOESN'T HAPPEN THAT WAY.  PRAYER WILL NOT GET A PERSON BORN AGAIN.  IF THAT WAS THE CASE, NONE OF OUR LOVED ONES WOULD GO TO HELL.


WE HAVE TO GET OUT THERE AND TELL PEOPLE ABOUT JESUS.  IT IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN ANY OTHER WAY.  IT SAYS THAT IN ROMANS 10:14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

The Prosperity Gospel Refuted

Is the prosperity gospel the true Gospel of Jesus Christ or another gospel (Gal. 1:8)? There are some very sincere people who believe it to be biblically sound. They have many " proof " texts to support their position but how can we be sure the texts in question are being interpreted correctly? Is the real meaning of the texts being ignored and a presupposition read into them, a process called eisegesis?

"EFFORTLESS FRUIT" BY ANDREW WOMMACK

John 7:38 "He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water."

JOHN 7:37-41


These rivers of living water are referring to the Holy Spirit and the effects He produces in the life of the believer. Galatians 5:22-23 says, "the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance." These qualities should flow out of us as an artesian well. They should not have to be pumped. They will flow as we conform our thinking to God's Word.

Jesus speaks of bearing fruit in John 15 and declares that ". . . without me ye can do nothing" (Jn. 15:5). This fruit is the product of the Holy Spirit, not our effort. However, since "he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit" (1 Cor. 6:17), then this fruit of the Spirit is also what our born- again spirit produces. Our spirit always has these...
