Greetings, Before we get into the comments of the top ten I would like to say thank you and Bless you all for stopping by  "JB's Top Ten Songs at Indie Gospel Artists" and I love your comments along the way. It does my heart good to see that the work that goes into this venture is well worth the time spent. that deserving artists and writers have another avenue of exposure within  Ken's whole Website  Indie Gospel Artists.  Just to let you know, it really is a blessing to us to hear from you all. 

In the Mean time, The "New Girl on the Block" has been making some kind of noise around here.  on 11/27/11 this song was the Bullet Song ( B/S) Then the next week (12-04) it hit the chart at #6 ... on 12-11 she kind of sneaked in there at #3 and a lot of people were starting to...

Zack Martin picked up a few messages out there in cyber land on IGA about Ken Rich keeping this site going. My Wife Marty added her two cents worth to the comments over at Zack's page. I commented on it as well....  But I felt that this should go out to the membership and so I am posting this via a community blog.  Here goes.....

Thank you Marty and Zack.  Now here are some numbers.. but first let me say that where IGA is at now is not where Ken Rich would like to take us. He envisions a lot of things that Indie Gospel Artists can do for its members. It is incredible, second to none. Here is what I like about Ken's vision.. It is not quantity that he wants, but Quality Service.  And he pays for it all for each one of us. There are over 600 members here on IGA now and each one of us has a page, Ken pays for that. The Lord has led him to do this out of his own pocket purely out of Love for the Lord and us, to help us in our ministries.

Gettin into the swing of things and a new #1 .   "Heaven" by Reggie McGee awesome song and really witnesses of the Lord and a message to those who are "contemplating making the decision" that we all have made. Joe Wamsley has a beautiful song in "Risen Son"  it is our B/S for the week. Enjoy the weekend and may God Bless you and America... JB

WE have a new #1 ... Congratulations to John and Rebecca Tatum for "Father Are You Listening"  In just 6 weeks it made #1. There are a couple of Good Honorable Mentions and a Bullet Song by Jessica Elam. And those a great stories but there is one other story that seems to be developing. When I first heard this song I thought "Yeah, this is a good solid song, easy going, I thought it would be a good seasonal song for the Christmas Season"  never intending the song to really do anything. But I got a shock.. it just kept inching its way up to #1. But thats still not the story. The story is most songs last but 6 weeks on the chart. In go up a bit and go down and off in 6 weeks.. Yep a month and half of being...

there is a new #1 song, a few dropped off, and a few got added to the Top Ten while still others made it to the Honorable Mentions and the Bullet Song... Your typical Week in the Top Ten.. mmmm?  Not so ..... I had a few extra songs that I thought go for next week, so I put them down at the bottom so I wouldnt lose them. Our Artists here at Indie Gospel Artists are definitely raising the bar in their individual recordings.  And I feel so priviledged to be one who can scan through the new songs, new  artists and know that when I click on a song, it will be the best that they can do. That's "Raising the Bar".  Our new #1 Song "One Way" by Gary Weldon Sr. is one of those songs. Gary for a time was in a holding pattern for a season, but man has he busted out and is doing what the Lord has given him. The ability to write songs for and of the Lord, Jesus. Awesome... You gotta check the new #1 also stop by Gary's page and say howdy howdy...  WE have a couple of new ones on the Chart, but what was awesome this week was that, again, I was not for a lack of fresh songs to put on for the "BULLET SONG and The Honorable Mention Songs....

   Doesn't sound right does it?  ... but in today's world, we have the unique ability to pray to the Lord and ask him what shall we do?  Stuck? You look at the candidates and who would you really put your trust in, to carry out your dreams, your wishes for this country? Obama? I think not, Paul? again I think not. I go through the whole gamit of the candidates that are vying for the Presidency,. none of them are even close to what I picture in a President. Herman Cain was my choice, but now he is not a candidate, so what do I do?

   Obama, keeps divising ways to hurt this economy, and now that so called ObamaCare is showing that the Government is going to take over our lives and our money that we managed to save, to fund the government and its devilish appetite. I could sit and type for an hour of all the anti-american things that Mr. Obama has done to the United States. From desecrating the Flag that us Veterans fought for to downright Treason and yet, noone seems to have...
